4. <br /> On September 18, 2018, Courtney Magee was sent a Notice of Failure to Complete 2017 <br /> Ethics Training. This notice provided Ms. Mageel thirty (30) days from the mailing of the notice <br /> to complete the required training. <br /> 5. <br /> On November 1, 2018, Courtney Magee was sent a Final Notice of Failure to Complete <br /> 2017 Ethics Training via certified mail. This notice provided Ms. Magee forty-five (45) business <br /> days from the mailing of the correspondence to complete the required training. <br /> 6. <br /> On June 12, 2019, Courtney Magee was sent an email that contained online instructions <br /> needed to complete the mandatory ethics training. <br /> 7. <br /> As of this date, Ms. Magee has failed to complete the required Ethics Training, in <br /> accordance with La. R.S. 42:1170, for the calendar year of 2017. <br /> 8. <br /> Based on the foregoing facts, Courtney Magee violated La. R.S. 42:1170 by virtue of her <br /> failure to receive one hour of education and training on the Code of Governmental Ethics during <br /> the 2017 calendar year. <br /> 9. <br /> In accordance with La. R.S. 42:1141C (3)(b)(iv), the Board designates Matthew Deville <br /> and Tracy M. Barker as the Board's trial attorneys in this matter. <br /> WHEREFORE, the Louisiana Board of Ethics requests that the Ethics Adjudicatory <br /> Board (a) conduct a hearing on the foregoing charges; (b) determine that Courtney Magee <br /> 2 <br />
