STATE OF LOUISIANA <br /> DIVISION OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW <br /> LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> * DOCKET NO. <br /> IN THE MATTER OF <br /> * AGENCY TRACKING NO. 2018-085 <br /> DAN KLEIN,JR. <br /> CHARGES <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics voted on February 14, 2019 to and does hereby file the <br /> following charge: <br /> 1. <br /> Dan Klein, Jr. was employed continuously by the West Feliciana Parish Sheriffs Office <br /> (WFPSO) as a Deputy Sheriff and Animal Control Officer from July 1, 2000 until January 29, <br /> 2018. <br /> 2. <br /> As an Animal Control Officer, Mr. Klein had duties that included being responsible for <br /> calls for service within the jurisdiction of WFPSO; capturing and impounding dangerous or stray <br /> animals, following WFPSO procedure; answering complaints concerning capturing and locating <br /> owners of stray livestock and domestic animals; capturing animals that posed a threat to residents <br /> or property; and, documenting and following up on all Animal Control calls. <br /> 1 <br />
