Advisory opinion that a former employee with the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) would not be prohibited by the Code of Governmental Ethics from working on transportation projects within the area of DOTD District 61 involving "Local Roads Safety Program" and "Safe Routes to School Program," since the former employee did not perform any work relative to those projects while he was employed with DOTD.

Provided that you do not work on projects that you worked on in <br /> your former position with the DOTD, the Ethics Code would not prohibit you from working on <br /> transportation projects in Louisiana, including projects in District 61. <br /> This advisory opinion is based solely on the facts as set forth herein. Changes to the facts as <br /> presented may result in a different application of the provisions of the Code of Ethics.
