Therefore, in compliance with the aforementioned statute, a
proposed plan of action is as follows:
1) Councilwoman Kim Stewart will not participate in any transaction of the Town of
Albany's purchases of equipment, fuel, parts,or services provided by Bankston Auto.
2) Councilwoman Kim Stewart will not discuss any Town business with Bankston
Auto.
3) Councilwoman Kim Stewart will still participate in normal Town business at Town
meetings, such as approving the monthly bills, which is the council's responsibility.
4) We are aware that any single transactions over$250.00 are subject to specific rules in
La.Rev.Stat.42:1123(22).
5) We are aware that single transactions that are under $250.00, but in the aggregate
over a calendar year are over$2,500.00,are also subject to specific rules in La.Rev.
Stat.42:1123(22).
Our Town Clerk will file the required(January,April,July,October) affidavits in a timely manner.
Thank you and the Board for all of your assistance with this matter.
