IX. La. R.S. 42:1115A(1) Provides that no public employee shall solicit or accept, directly or indirectly, anything of economic value as a gift or gratuity form any person or from any officer, director, agent, or employee of such person, if such public employees knows that such person has or is seeking to obtain a business or financial relationship with the public servants agency. X. As evidenced by his signature below, Jeff E. Edgecombe, knowingly and of his own free will (a) agrees that the charges are factually supported by stated facts herein; (b) agrees that he violated La. R.S. 42:1111C(2)(d); (c) acknowledges that upon his signature being affixed to this consent decree, this document will be available to the public as a public record; (d) agrees that this order and decree is final, waives any right of appeal or to otherwise seek a return of the payment as the penalty; and (e) agrees to pay the penalty assessed herein and otherwise to comply with any other term or condition in the following order and decree. Edgecombe, as the sole owner and agent of Edgecombe Construction, LLC, knowingly and of his own free will (a) agrees that the charges are factually supported by stated facts herein; (b) agrees that his company, Edgecombe Construction, LLC, violated La. R.S. 42:1111C(2)(d); (c) acknowledges that upon his signature, as authorized representative of Edgecombe Construction, LLC, being affixed to this consent decree, this document will be available to the public as a public record; (d) agrees that this order and decree is final, waives any right of appeal or to otherwise seek a return of the payment as the penalty; and (e) agrees to pay the penalty assessed herein and otherwise to comply with any other term or condition in the following order and decree.
