IX. <br /> La. R.S. 42:1115A(1) Provides that no public employee shall solicit or accept, directly or <br /> indirectly, anything of economic value as a gift or gratuity form any person or from any officer, <br /> director, agent, or employee of such person, if such public employees knows that such person has <br /> or is seeking to obtain a business or financial relationship with the public servants agency. <br /> X. <br /> As evidenced by his signature below, Jeff E. Edgecombe, knowingly and of his own free <br /> will (a) agrees that the charges are factually supported by stated facts herein; (b) agrees that he <br /> violated La. R.S. 42:1111C(2)(d); (c) acknowledges that upon his signature being affixed to this <br /> consent decree, this document will be available to the public as a public record; (d) agrees that <br /> this order and decree is final, waives any right of appeal or to otherwise seek a return of the <br /> payment as the penalty; and (e) agrees to pay the penalty assessed herein and otherwise to comply <br /> with any other term or condition in the following order and decree. <br /> XI. <br /> As evidenced by his signature below, Jeff E. Edgecombe, as the sole owner and agent of <br /> Edgecombe Construction, LLC, knowingly and of his own free will (a) agrees that the charges <br /> are factually supported by stated facts herein; (b) agrees that his company, Edgecombe <br /> Construction, LLC, violated La.
