Consent order in which Wiley Robinson agrees that he violated La. R.S. 42:1112B‎(1)‎ by participating in the transfer of a 1979 Sutphen fire truck from the Town of Plain Dealing to his son, James Chad Robinson, on behalf of Custom Herbicides, Inc., in the name of Aaron Bufkin, while he served as the Mayor of the Town of Plain Dealing. Additionally, Mr. Robinson agrees that he violated La. R.S. 42:1112B‎(1)‎ by using a backhoe owned by the Town of Plain Dealing to move stone veneer to benefit personal property owned by his son, Chad Robinson, while he served as Mayor of the Town of Plain Dealing.

fire truck to James Chad Robinson on behalf of Custom Herbicides, Inc., in the name of Aaron <br /> Bufkin. <br /> VI. <br /> Wiley Robinson signed the title of the 1979 Sutphen fire truck as Mayor of the Town of <br /> Plain Dealing transferring it from the Town of Plain Dealing to Aaron Bufkin. <br /> VII. <br /> Wiley Robinson personally paid $551.80 for the transfer of the title to the 1979 Sutphen <br /> fire truck to Aaron Bufkin. <br /> VIII. <br /> In the spring of 2016, Wiley Robinson, as Mayor of the Town of Plain Dealing, used a <br /> backhoe owned by the Town of Plain Dealing to move stone veneer to benefit personal property <br /> owned by his son,Chad Robinson. <br /> IX. <br /> La. R.S. 42:1112B(1) prohibits a public servant from participating in a transaction <br /> involving his governmental entity in which a member of his immediate family has a substantial <br /> economic interest. <br /> X. <br /> La.R.S.42:1153 provides with respect to penalties: <br /> B. Upon finding that any public employee or other person has <br /> violated any provision of any law within the jurisdiction of the board . . ., <br /> the board by a majority vote of the membership, may remove, suspend, or <br /> order a reduction in pay, or demotion of the public employee or other <br /> person,or impose a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars,or both. <br /> La.
