Ethics Board Docket No. 2023-326 <br /> Page 6 of S <br /> VI. <br /> ORDER: <br /> For the fore�oing reasons: <br /> IT IS ORDERED that Coby Cla��ier, in his capacity as an elected member of the St. <br /> Landry Parish Council, violated La. R.S. 42:1111C(2)(dj by receiving compensation and wages <br /> for rendering services to Coburn Supply Company while Coburn Supply Company had or was <br /> seeking to have a contractual, financial, or business reiationship ��itli the St. Landry Parish <br /> Government. <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a $1,OOO.QO civil penalty, payable to the Treasurer of <br /> the State of Louisiana, is hereby assessed upon Coby Cla��ier, aiid that in the event of a failure to <br /> pay, that suit may be filed to compel immediate payment of a1�y balance due. <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED tl�at the �1,000 civil penalty be and is hereby payable in <br /> ten (10) equa( tnontlily installinents of$100.00. Tl�e first instaltment payment is due ancl owin� <br /> on or before August 15,2025, each installment�aymeiit thereafter is due and owing an the 15tk'of <br /> each month, with the finat payment due and owing on May 15, 2026. Failure to remit an <br /> instaliment payment on or before the due date resuits in all remaining installment payments <br /> becoming due and owing immediately. <br /> iT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Coby C(avier shall execute a Confession of <br /> Judgmei�t for the ot�tstanding civil penalty in the amount of S 1,000.00 that is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof as Exhibit"A." <br />
