To recognize scientists, engineers, authors, journalists, and public <br /> servants for significant contributions to science and the public's understanding of science, <br /> the AAAS sponsors multiple awards. The "If/Then Program," given in partnership with <br /> Lyda Hill Philanthropies, a philanthropy, voluntarism, arid grant-making organization, <br /> seeks to further advance women in STEM by empowering current innovators and inspiring <br /> the next generation of girls to pursue STEM careers. <br /> You are employed by the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority ("CPRA") as a <br /> Coastal Resources Scientist in the Planning and Research Division. Based on your <br /> excellence in the field of science and commitment to supporting women and girls in STEM, <br /> you have been offered a $5,000 award by AAAS through the If/Then Program.
