LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO: 2022-054 <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF HOPE LASORDE <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics (the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation concerning <br /> information that Hope Laborde, in her capacity as Administrative Assistant of the Louisiana State <br /> Board of Optometry Examiners (the "LSBOE"), may have violated Section 111 lA of the Ethics <br /> Code by virtue of receiving bonus payments for the performance of her duties to which she was <br /> not duly entitled. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Hope Laborde, the BOE and Hope Laborde enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Hope Laborde, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish <br /> of Allen with an address of 1321 Norris Road, Oakdale, Louisiana 71463 <br /> and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in <br /> East Baton Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton <br /> Rouge, Louisiana 70821. <br />
