(DCG) in which his immediate family member had a substantial economic interest, and that he violated La. R.S. 42:1117 by directing payments to DCG that DCG was prohibited from receiving by La. LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO: 2022-724 <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF BOBBY J. GUIDROZ <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics (the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation concerning <br /> information that Bobby J. Guidroz, in his capacity as Sheriff, St. Landry Parish,may have violated <br /> a) Section 1112B(1) of the Ethics Code by virtue of participating in a transaction in which his <br /> immediate family member had a substantial economic interest and b) Section 1117 of the Ethics <br /> Code by virtue of making payments to Dupre-Carrier-Godchaux Agency, Inc., a Louisiana <br /> corporation("DCG")which it was prohibited from receiving by Section 1113A of the Ethics Code. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Bobby J. Guidroz, the BOE and Bobby J. Guidroz enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Bobby J. Guidroz, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the <br /> Parish of St. Landry with an address of 1552 Highway 743, Opelousas, <br /> Louisiana 70570 and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in <br /> East Baton Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton <br /> Rouge, Louisiana 70821. <br />
