LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO. 2024-395 <br /> IN THE MATTER OF <br /> DAVID DUPLECHEIN <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics(the`Board"),pursuant to the authority contained in La.R.S. <br /> 42:1141, conducted a confidential investigation concerning information that David Duplechein <br /> received a thing of economic value for services rendered to Hughes Insurance Services,L.L.C.while <br /> he served as a member of the Ascension Parish School Board and while Hughes Insurance Services, <br /> L.L.C.had a contractual,business and financial relationship with the Ascension Parish School Board <br /> in derogation of La. R.S 42:1111C(2)(d). <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Da�id Duplechein, the Board now makes the following essential: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> David Duplechein, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish of <br /> Ascension; and, <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in East Baton <br /> Rouge Parish. <br />
