LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> IN RE: MATTER OF KIVETT'S CONSENT ORDER NO.: 2014-889 <br /> ELECTRICAL HEATING <br /> AND COOLING SERVICES <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics ("the Board"), after conducting a confidential <br /> investigation pursuant to La. R.S. 42:1141, finds the following in regards to Kivett's Electrical <br /> Heating and Cooling Services. <br /> I. <br /> Robert Kivett, Sr. served as the Mayor of the Village of Richmond. Robert Kivett, Sr. <br /> was first elected November 3, 1998 and served four consecutive terms until his death on March <br /> 28,2016. <br /> II. <br /> Robert Kivett,Jr. and Richard Kivett are the biological sons of Robert Kivett, Sr. <br /> III. <br /> Robert Kivett, Jr. and Richard Kivett own 100% of Kivett's Electrical Heating and <br /> Cooling Services. <br /> IV. • <br /> On March 5, 2013, at a regular meeting of the Village of Richmond Board of Alarmen, <br /> 4 i „' <br /> c-3 v <br /> by a unanimous vote, the aldermen decided to build a new concession stand at the Viit�ge <br /> N (—La <br /> Richmond Sports Complex. 117 <br /> x• <j `.' <br /> Ct m z. <br /> V. <br /> Caa C- <br /> On April 25, 2013, Kivett's Electrical Heating and Cooling Services installed air <br /> conditioning in the new concession stand for the Village of Richmond.
