Consent order in which Wiley Robinson agrees that he violated La. R.S. 42:1112B‎(1)‎ by participating in the transfer of a 1979 Sutphen fire truck from the Town of Plain Dealing to his son, James Chad Robinson, on behalf of Custom Herbicides, Inc., in the name of Aaron Bufkin, while he served as the Mayor of the Town of Plain Dealing. Additionally, Mr. Robinson agrees that he violated La. R.S. 42:1112B‎(1)‎ by using a backhoe owned by the Town of Plain Dealing to move stone veneer to benefit personal property owned by his son, Chad Robinson, while he served as Mayor of the Town of Plain Dealing.

LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> IN RE:MATTER OF WILEV ROBINSON CONSENT ORDER NO.: 2016-484 <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics ("the Board"), after conducting a confidential <br /> investigation pursuant to La.R.S.42:1141,finds the following in regard to Wiley Robinson. <br /> I. <br /> Wiley Robinson served as Mayor of the Town of Plain Dealing from January 1, 2013 <br /> until January 1,2017. <br /> II. <br /> James Chad Robinson and Joseph Cody Robinson are the biological sons of Wiley <br /> Robinson. <br /> III. <br /> James Chad Robinson and Joseph. Cody Robinson were the co-owners of Custom <br /> Herbicides,Inc_from December 2014 until November 2015. James Chad Robinson was removed <br /> as an officer/agent of Custom Herbicides,.Inc.in December 2015. <br /> IV. <br /> On July 22,2015,Aaron Bufkin allowed his name to be used to purchase a 1979 Sutphen <br /> fire truck from the Town of Plain Dealing for $3,000. Specifically, James Chad Robinson gave <br /> $3,000 to Josh Jester that he used to purchase the 1979 Sutphen fire truck from the Town of <br /> Plain Dealing in the name of Aaron Bufkin. <br /> V. <br /> On July 22, 2015, Wiley Robinson, in his capacity as Mayor of the Town of Plain <br /> Dealing, signed the title on behalf of the Town of Plain Dealing transferring the 1979 Sutphen <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br />
