LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> * <br /> IN THE MATTER OF * DOCKET NO: 2015-1173 <br /> * <br /> BRIDGETTE CLARK AND * <br /> CLARK ENTITIES, LLC <br /> CONSENT ORDER <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics(the"Board"),pursuant to the authority contained in La.R.S. <br /> 42:1141,conducted a confidential investigation concerning Bridgette Clark and Clark Entities,LLC. <br /> 1. <br /> On July 1,2014,a Charter School Contract for Type 2-Charter Schools("Charter Contract") <br /> was entered into between Learning Solutions, Inc., and the Louisiana Board of Elementary and <br /> Secondary Education ("BESE") for the purpose of operating a charter school entitled Vision <br /> Academy. <br /> 2. <br /> Pursuant to La. R.S. 17:3996B(20),a charter school established and operated in accordance <br /> with this Chapter,the charter school, its approved charter and the school's officers and employees <br /> shall be subject to the Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics. <br /> 3. <br /> The Charter Contract entered into on July 1,2014 was for an initial period of four years set <br /> to terminate on June 30, 2018 and was in effect at all times pertinent herein. <br /> Page 1 of 8 <br />
