LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> DOCKET NO. 2022-452 <br /> IN THE MATTER OF <br /> TEQUELLA DOUGLAS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics(the`Board"),pursuant to the authority contained in La. R.S. <br /> 42:1141,conducted a confidential investigation concerning information that while Tequella Douglas, <br /> in her capacity as the Chief Deputy, Deputy Tax Collector of the St. Helena Parish Sherif�s Office, <br /> received a thing of economic value she was not duly entitled to receive for the performance of her <br /> job duties as Chief Deputy,Deputy Tax Collector of the St. Helena Parish Sheriff's Office,when she <br /> received $10,525.67 in cash payments made to the Sheriff's Office for tax payments in derogation <br /> of La. R.S 42:1 ll 1 A. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Tequella Douglas, the Board now makes the following essential: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Tequella Douglas, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish of <br /> Livingston with a last known address of 988 Dennis Lee Road,Denham Springs, LA <br /> 70706; and, <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in East Baton <br /> Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton Rouge, Louisiana <br /> 70821. <br />
