Ethics Board Docket Nos. 2023-398 <br /> Page 4 of 12 <br /> IV. <br /> PROVISIONS OF LAW: <br /> 1. <br /> Section 1 ll9A prohibits immediate family members of agency heads from being employed <br /> in their agency. <br /> §1119. <br /> A. No member of the immediate family of an agency head shall be employed in his agency. <br /> 2. <br /> Section 1112B(1)prohibits a public servant from participating in a transaction involving his <br /> governmental agency in which his immediate family member has a substantial economic interest. <br /> §1112. <br /> B(1). No public servant shall participate in a transaction involving the governmental <br /> entity in which, to his actual knowledge, any member of his immediate family has a <br /> substantial economic interest. <br /> 3. <br /> The following terms in La. R.S. 42:1102 of the Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics are <br /> germane to analyzing the findings of fact and the app(icable law. <br /> §1102.
