Box 4368 Baton Rouge , Louisiana   70821 or by uploading the request in a PDF file format through the Ethics File Upload website The Board of Ethics renders written advisory opinions with respect to situations covered by any law which it administers. Requests for advisory opinions must be in writing, signed and submitted by a person or governmental agency with a demonstrable and objective interest in the opinion requested. The Board does not render advisory opinions with respect to past conduct, but can provide crucial advice on how to avoid problems in the future.
