VIII. <br /> La. R.S. 18:1505.4A(4)(b)provides that the Board of Ethics may impose on any person <br /> required to file such a report, who has not filed the report by the eleventh day after the report is <br /> due and after an adjudicatory hearing by the Ethics Adjudicatory Board, an additional civil <br /> penalty not to exceed ten thousand dollars. <br /> 10-P REPORT <br /> .IX. <br /> La. R.S. 18:1495.4B(4) provides that each candidate shall file a report no later than the <br /> tenth day prior to the primary election which shall be complete through the twentieth day prior to <br /> the primary election. <br /> X. <br /> As an "Any Other" level office candidate, Ray Francois was required to file a 1 o-P <br /> campaign finance disclosure report in accordance with La. R.S. 18:1495.4B(4) by October 26, <br /> 20201"n connection with the November 3, 2020 election. Exhibit 2. <br /> XI. <br /> Ray Francois was required to file, but did not file, a 10-P campaign finance disclosure <br /> report by October 26, 2020. As of this date, Ray Francois has not filed the 10-P campaign finance <br /> disclosure report. <br /> XII. <br /> On February 26,2021 the Board of Ethics' staff issued Ray Francois a Late Fee Assessment <br /> Order, ordering hire to pay a late fee of$1,000 for the failure to timely file his 10-P campaign <br /> finance disclosure report and to file the report. <br /> Page 3 of 6 <br />
