Advisory Opinion whereby the Code of Governmental Ethics would not prohibit the City of Slidell from placing retired K-9 officers with their Slidell Police Department handler or other sufficiently trained law enforcement employees of the Slidell Police Department, as long as it is the policy of the police department that employees are duly entitled to receive the retired K-9 officers.
