Ethics Board Docket No. 2021-052 <br /> Page 3 of 9 <br /> indicated, all references shall be made to Jennifer Lance. <br /> 2. <br /> Jennifer Lance was hired by LSUHSC on August 6, 1997. On October 1,2004,Mrs. <br /> Lance was promoted to "project coordinator" within the Fiest-Weiller Cancer Center, a <br /> division of LSUHSC ("FWCC"). In October 2017, Mrs. Lance's position was formally <br /> changed to "Project Manager" within the FWCC. <br /> 3. <br /> In her role as Project Manager, she also was responsible for assisting in the operation <br /> of the Partners in Wellness Clinic, a division of LSUHSC ("PIW"). In this role, Mrs. Lance <br /> had purchasing authority for PIW. <br /> 4. <br /> In addition to her employment with LSUHSC, Mrs. Lance also operated an <br /> independent sole proprietorship, Harper&Daisy. Harper&Daisy was a printing company. <br /> 5. <br /> On March 1, 2020, Jennifer Lance submitted an invoice to LSUHSC from"Jennifer <br /> Ducote d/b/a Harper and Daisy" in the amount of$3,400. The invoice was for educational <br /> materials to be distributed by PIW. On March 26, 2020, Jennifer Lance submitted a <br /> requisition on behalf of PIW for the educational materials in the invoice. Mrs. Lance also <br /> signed the invoice on behalf of PIW. <br /> 6. <br /> On May 1, 2020, a check was written from LSUHSC in the amount of $3,400 to <br />
