LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF BD NO: 2022-413 <br /> MICHAEL ARTHUR <br /> The Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the Louisiana <br /> Code of Governmental Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the"Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. <br /> seq., and particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation <br /> concerning information that Michael Arthur, in his capacity violated La. R.S. 42: 1111(A)(1)(a) <br /> when he received payment from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office for time he spent working <br /> for the Dillard's Department Store while also on duty for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation,and with the concurrence of Michael <br /> Arthur, the BOE and Michael Arthur enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Michael Arthur, a person of the full age of majority, with a last known address of <br /> 11366 Hampton Ct, Denham Springs, Louisiana 70726 <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, an agency of the State of Louisiana, whose <br /> mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70821. <br />
