LSBME. Therefore, Dr. Clark's receipt of a stipend from LSMS would violate La. R.S. <br /> 42:1111 C(2)(d). <br /> CONCLUSiON <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics concluded, and instructed me to inform you, that the Code of <br /> Governental Ethics would prohibit the receipt by Dr. Clark, while serving as a member of the <br /> LSBME Board,of a stipend for services rendered as President of the Board of Governors of LSMS <br /> while LSMS and LSBME have a business relationship. <br /> This advisory opinion is based solely on the facts as set forth herein. Changes to the facts as <br /> presented may result in a different application of the provisions of the Code of Goverrunental <br /> Ethics.
