The Code of Ethics prohibits a company owned by a member of the Bayou Cane Fire Protection District from bidding on or entering into transactions under the supervision or jurisdiction of the Bayou Cane Fire Protection District. The Code of Ethics prohibits the renewal of any contracts between a company owned by the father of a member of the Terrebonne Parish Council with the Council.

Page and Sons Insurance Agency, Inc. (the "Company"). <br /> `.'1 ou also serve: on the board of the Bayou Cane Fire Protection District(the "District"). <br /> Your son, Ryzn Page,who does not own any interest in the Company, serves as the Risk Manager <br /> for Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government (the "Parish"). In this role, he presents renewal <br /> quotes to the Parish President and Parish Council. <br /> The Company is considering acquiring another insurance agency (the "Target"). The Target is the <br /> insurance producer of record for several policies with each of the Parish and the District <br /> (collectively,the "Subject Policies"). <br /> You would like to know, if the Company, after it acquires the Target, could renew the Subject <br /> Policies. <br /> LAW <br /> Lal. R.S. 42:1112B(1) states that no public servant shall participate in a transaction involving the <br /> governmental entity in which, to his actual knowledge, any member of his immediate family has <br /> a s-cbstantial economic interest. <br /> Lal.
