LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO: 2021-052 <br /> RE: 1N THE MATTER OF JENNIFER LANCE <br /> The Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the "Ethics Code"), La. <br /> R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a <br /> confidential investigation concerning information that Jennifer Lance, while serving as an <br /> employee of Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center—Shreveport <br /> ("LSUHSC"), may have violated Section 1112A of the Ethics Code by virtue of her <br /> participation in the approval of invoices on behalf of her agency relating to purchases from <br /> her sole proprietorship, and may have violated Section 1113A of the Ethics Code by virtue <br /> of her sole proprietorship entering into a transaction that was under the supervision or <br /> .jurisdiction of her agency. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the <br /> concurrence of Jennifer Lance,the BOE and Jennifer Lance enter into this Consent Opinion <br /> as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br />
