JURISDICTION <br /> 2. <br /> The BOE is an agency of the State of Louisiana domiciled in East Baton Rouge Parish, <br /> Louisiana. <br /> 3. <br /> The BOE is authorized to offer and enter into a Consent Opinion by virtue of La. R.S. <br /> 42:1141 C(3)(�. <br /> III. FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> 4. <br /> La.R.S. 33:4574B(17)created the Lafourche Parish Tourist Commission as"a body politic <br /> and corporate and a political subdivision of the state of Louisiana..." The Lafourche Parish Code <br /> of Ordinances, Article XVII, Sec. 34-422, established the Lafourche Tourist Commission and <br /> empowered it to"do all things necessary for the promotion and advertisement and publications of <br /> information relating to tourist attractions" in Lafourche Parish.
