13. <br /> On October 4, 2023, Amplify invoiced LARC for the third and final installment of <br /> $5,000.00, which was paid by LARC. <br /> 14. <br /> By e-mail dated March 13, 2023, LARC conveyed to Amplify that LARC opted to retain <br /> Amplify to manage the BBB Festival's social media at a price of$400 per month. Those services <br /> entailed in part providing 2023 BBB Festival content to and updating Facebook and Instagram <br /> posts. Between May and October 2023, Amplify invoiced LARC a total of$2,400 for services <br /> rendered, which LARC paid. <br /> 15. <br /> On November 7, 2023, Amplify invoiced LARC $1,074.04 for supplies it purchased for <br /> the festival; LARC reimbursed Amplify that amount. <br /> 16. <br /> Depending on the will of the LCBT Board of Directors,the governing body has since 2016 <br /> appropriated funds in its operating budget for Tourism Investment Program grants("TIP Grants"). <br /> 17. <br /> For the 2023 budget, the LCBT Board of Directors elected to include a line-item <br /> appropriation of$60,000 for TIP Grants. One of the main criteria for the award was that eligible <br /> projects had to be new in the Parish; recurring events, in other words,were ineligible for funding. <br /> l8. <br /> The deadline to submit grants to the LCBT was March l, 2023. <br /> Page 5 of 16 <br />
