You <br /> retired from that position in May 2018. You were rehired by LDH as a contract employee in the <br /> 1/Iedicaid Managed Care Organizations Operations, Policy and Compliance section of LDH <br /> ("-TCO"). MCO does not have any role in administering the fiscal intermediary contract. You <br /> terminated your contract employment with LDH in August 2025. <br /> The LDH fiscal intermediary contract is with Gainwell Technologies (the "Company"). You are <br /> considering; accepting employment with the Company related to the fiscal intermediary contract <br /> tivith LDH. <br /> You would like to know whether you may accept such employment with the Company. <br /> LAW <br /> Lai.ILS.42:1-121A(1)provides no former agency head or elected official shall, for a period of two <br /> yews folloNvir.-g the termination of his public service as the head of such agency or as an elected <br /> public official serving in such agency, assist another person, for compensation, in a transaction, or <br /> in. an appeara-ice in connection with a transaction, involving that former agency or render any <br /> service on a contractual basis to or for such agency. <br /> Lal.
