The Board of Ethics (the "SOE"), pursuant ta the authority contained in the Louisiana Cade of Governmental Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the"Ethics Code"), La. RS. 42:1101, et. seq., and particularly La. R.S. 42:1141, conducted a confidential investigation concerning information that Ryker Anthony and Anthony's Tree Service, L.L.C. may have violated La. RS. 42:1113A(1)(a) of the Ethics �ode by viriue of entering into a transactian with the Town of Kentwood,while Ryker Anthony's mother,Michelle Anthony,served as Town Clerk for the Town of Kentwood. On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of Ryker Anthony and Anthony's Tree Service, L.L.C., the BOE, Ryker Anthony, and Anthony's Tree Service, L.L.C. enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: I. PARTIES: The Parties hereto are: Ryker Anthony, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish of Livingston, with a last known address of 25639 Highway 43, Springfield, Louisiana, 70462; Anthony's Tree Service,L.L.C.,a Louisiana limited liability company,with a last known address of 25639 Highway 43, Springfield, Louisiana, 70462; and The Louisiana Board of Ethics, an agency of the State of Louisiana, whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70821.
