13. <br /> La. R.S. 42:1153B provides with respect to penalties: <br /> Upon a determination that any public employee or other person has violated <br /> any provision of any law within the jurisdiction of the Board of Ethics, the <br /> Ethics Adjudicatory Board may remove, suspend, or order a reduction in <br /> pay, or demotion of the public employee or other person, or impose a fine <br /> of not more than ten thousand dollars, or both. <br /> 14. <br /> Based on the foregoing facts, Charlotte Prothro, in her capacity as the Fire Chief for the <br /> Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District No. 1,violated La. R.S. 42:1112B(1) by signing each <br /> of the fifteen checks issued to Paige O'Quinn,while Paige O'Quinn was married to Travis Prothro, <br /> and in which Paige O'Quinn had a substantial economic interest in the payment. <br /> 15. <br /> Based on the foregoing facts, Charlotte Prothro, in her capacity as the Fire Chief for the <br /> Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District No. 1, violated La. R.S. 42:1112B(1) by signing each <br /> of the eleven checks issued to Rachel Broome,while Rachel Broome was married to Alex Prothro, <br /> and in which Rachel Broome had a substantial economic interest in the payment. <br /> 16. <br /> In accordance with La.
