5. <br /> From 2011 until his reassignment in October 2014, Mike Crawford examined all written <br /> requisitions to ensure each were in accordance with state purchasing guidelines,then he forwarded <br /> the requisitions to the Purchasing Department for final approval. <br /> 6. <br /> Beta Technology,Inc.is a Houston-based specialty chemical company that provides a variety <br /> of industrial and institutional cleaning products to state,county/parish,and municipal governments <br /> in Texas and Louisiana. <br /> 7. <br /> Between 2011 through 2014, Beta Technology sold its products to the East Baton Rouge <br /> Sheriff's Office in the following amounts:2011 -$11,086.72;2012-$11,434.09;2013-$34,838.00; <br /> and 2014 - $9,304.62. <br /> 8. <br /> The sale of products representing$66,663.43 in sales by Beta Technology, Inc. to the East <br /> Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office represents 122 transactions between the two entities. Of the 122 <br /> transactions, Mike Crawford approved 48 of the those transactions. <br /> 9. <br /> Chris Kaiser has been an employee of Beta Technology, Inc., for over twelve years and he <br /> was employed with Beta Technology at all times pertinent herein. <br /> 10. <br /> Beginning in January 2009, Chris Kaiser worked as an Account Manager for Beta <br /> Technology,Inc. Mr.Kaiser was responsible for sales of Beta Technology products in ten Louisiana <br /> Agency Tracking No.2014-1419 Page 2 of 8 <br />
