Consent order in which Adam Hurley d/b/a Hook & Ladder Training Services, LLC agrees that he violated La. R.S. 42:1111A by receiving the use of equipment and money from the Webster Parish Fire Protection District #8, at a time Mr. Hurley was a paid fireman of District #8, which he was not duly entitled to receive, to conduct training courses that were not part of his job duties and responsibilities. Additionally, Mr. Hurley agrees that he violated La. R.S. 42:1112B‎(1)‎ by participating in the authorization of payments to his wife, Karla Sumrall, for reimbursement for her response to emergency calls.

Hurley, Sr. received $552.00 from Webster Parish Fire Protection District #8 to <br /> purchase supplies to teach a training class d/b/a Hook& Ladder Training Services, LLC for XTO <br /> Energy, Inc. <br /> 7. <br /> Adam J. Hurley, Sr. d/b/a Hook & Ladder Training Services, LLC received $2,600 for <br /> providing training classes to XTO Energy,Inc.and$4,870 for providing training classes to Calumet <br /> Lubricants using equipment and supplies of the Webster Parish Fire Protection District#8 to teach <br /> said training classes. <br /> 8. <br /> Adam J.Hurley,Sr.was not entitled to use the supplies and equipment of the Webster Parish <br /> Fire Protection District#8 to teach training courses d/b/a Hook&Ladder Training Services, LLC. <br /> 9. <br /> Adam J.
