IX. <br /> Reginald Merchant was required to file,but did not file,a 30-P campaign finance disclosure <br /> report by October 14, 2021. As of this date, Reginald Merchant has not filed a 30-P campaign <br /> finance disclosure report. <br /> X. <br /> On January 4, 2022, the Board of Ethics' staff issued Reginald Merchant a Late Fee <br /> Assessment Order, ordering him to pay a late fee of$2,500 for the failure to timely file his 30-P <br /> campaign finance disclosure report and to file the report. <br /> 14-P REPORT <br /> XI. <br /> La. R.S. 18:1495.4B(4) provides that each candidate shall file a report no later than the <br /> tenth day prior to the primary election which shall be complete through the twentieth day prior to <br /> the primary election. <br /> XII. <br /> As a "Major" level office candidate, Reginald Merchant was required to file a 10-P <br /> campaign finance disclosure report in accordance with La. R.S. 18:1495.4B(4) by November 3, <br /> 2021 in connection with the November 13, 2021 election.
