The check was endorsed by "Jennifer Ducote <br /> (Lance)". <br /> 7. <br /> While PIW stated that they never received the materials to be provided by Harper <br /> and Daisy, Mrs. Lance, if called to testify, would claim that these events occurred during <br /> the initial weeks of the coronavirus pandemic, and that she distributed them out directly to <br /> clients of PIW during her site visits. <br /> 8. <br /> Mrs. Lance formally retired from her employment with LSUHSC on November 6, <br /> 2020. <br /> 9. <br /> Mrs. Lance has reimbursed $3,400 to LSUHSC by check on May 10, 2021. <br /> IV. <br /> PROVISIONS OF LAW: <br /> 1. <br /> Section 1112A of the Ethics Code prohibits a public servant from participating in a <br /> transaction involving his governmental entity in which he has a substantial economic <br /> interest. Section 1112A of the Code provides in pertinent part: <br /> §1112. Participation in certain transactions involving the governmental entity <br /> A.
